Peter Anthony Blush was born in Britain and raised in the United States. He studied journalism and English literature at the University of Maryland and later enlisted in the military during the Viet Nam War where he served as a journalist for the U.S. Army newspaper, Stars and Stripes. Following his discharge he worked for U.S. News and World Report in Washington D.C. until he moved to Quebec in the mid-70s, working for Southam Business Publications in Montreal. In 2005, he moved to Stratford working as a freelance writer. He has written articles for the Stratford Beacon Herald, The National Catholic News Service and the Hullet Wildlife Conservation Area.
